Philosophy
How I intend to lead the ZUNFTHAUS ZUR WAAG to success:
Quality may neither be purchased nor forced, but must be set by example.
This is what long standing practical experience has taught me. I speak less of the fundamentals of management behind the scenes – these are a matter of course – than of the art to satisfy the modern customer. On that alone do we measure our success, and it is customer satisfaction which will bring us new guests and regular visitors.
Quality means more than 3 Michelin stars or 20 points in the Gault Millau. Quality denotes committment and the motivation to execute ordinary tasks extraordinarily well. Furthermore, we wish to impart more hospitality, more warmth and more joie de vivre through inner values.
The Zunfthaus´ culture, is brought to life by a motivated team. A team with the strong desire to be appreciated by pleased guests and by the rest of the field.
It is my declared intention to show each customer the same courtesy and hospitality, I welcome when I am myself a guest.
Goals are not achieved by words, but by deeds. It is why I intend to master this challenge with as much creativity, personal involvement and enthusiasm as possible. Such has been my recipe in the past, and it has brought me personal satisfaction as well as success in business.
