Banquet Manager
Roger has been an integral part of the Waag since September 2020. As banquet manager, he is responsible for events on the second and third floors. From time to time, however, he can also be found in the cloister or on the terrace. And as an experienced service professional, he sometimes helps out in the restaurant—he’s a true all-rounder.
During his time at the Waag, he has presided over more than 500 civil weddings and managed well over 1,000 events of all kinds. In addition to guest services, he is also responsible for the many banquet staff members.
In his personal life, Roger has an artistic streak—he’s pursuing a solo singing career and has recently begun to make a name for himself in the art world: he had his first art exhibition in 2025. To balance things out, fitness and relaxation are part of his routine.
